We believe in nurturing and empowering children to learn in a positive, happy Islamic environment. Children which are 11 Years and younger will be in a mixed class, 12 years and above will be separated in the same classroom. Will there be a Uniform ? Boys: White topi (hat) and white Juba is mandatory.Girls: Head scarf and abaya for girls is mandatory. What will my child be learning? We will have a robust curriculum with a host of teaching techniques- we are currently in the process of compiling our interactive and bespoke material. How interactive is the teaching? We will be using a selection of interactive video learnings, books, personalised lessons plans, Power Points and one-to-ones. Our aim is to make learning fun and for all children to feel proud of their faith. How old is my child required to be, to register? 5 years and above What are the timings of the Al’ Qadr? The School will operate from 16:00-18:00 daily and provide weekend learning. Is it taught in Urdu? We will have a range of bilingual teachers, teaching predominately in English, they will have the necessary language skills to teach in Urdu, Bengali, Arabic & Farsi if required. Are the teachers Volunteers? Some teachers may be as this will be a choice they make, however our teachers are predominately paid and rewarded. Can Parents help at the School? Of course, this will be a pleasure for your child, our community and an asset to the school. How many Classes are there? Initially children will be banded into 5 groups, depending on an assessment result.Group 1: Ages 5-7Group 2- Ages 7-9Group 3-Ages 9-11Group 4- Ages 11-13Group 5- Ages 14 and above.Group 6-Hifz classIn due course we will also be running classes for children aiming for a GCSE in Arabic/Islamic Studies and Classes for Adults. What other programmes and activities are run? Children will be able to participate in our 786 Club- which will aim to cover topical issues facing the Muslim youth. Languages, Fiqh, Qur’an, Islamic studies, Muslim Scouts. What are the fees? These are to be confirmed. What will my child require on the first day of School?
